Kona’s simple, stylish DH jacket has a substantial feeling outer layer for the cash. While it is on the bulky side, it is aimed more at freeriding and downhill messing than trail or road riding.
The DH is made from water resistant nylon rip-stop fabric that’s taped on the critical seams to keep the damp out. There are drawcords around the waist and hood, along with velcro cuffs to seal you in, although it does get warm at times.
Kona have added pit zips to take care of aeration and there’s a inner mesh lining which helps stop you getting too clammy on rides.
A large tooth, easy-to-use front zip with draft flat makes life easy, and the peak hood keeps the water off your face in a downpour.
