Wearing the Switchback made us feel quietly intelligent about our clothing choice. Although it just looks like a plain old laid-back jersey, it delivers a real performance punch.
It combines two different wicking mesh fabrics, and despite having long sleeves it stayed comfortable during both chilly morning starts and 20ºC afternoons.
The construction is impeccable, with flat-locked seams and stretch taping on the neck and the cuffs which really helps them stay in place when pushed up.
The neckline is the ideal depth too – not too tight, not too low – which might sound like a mere detail but it’s one of the things that elevates the Switchback above the ordinary.
