If truth be told, we felt a bit like a billboard for Pearl Izumi in this, but the '70s vibe of the colourway totally worked for us.
Granted, the cut gives it a boxy shape on the body rather than a slouchy cool look, but the half-length front zip is a definite plus, since this jersey is long enough to have a serious cooling effect on warm days, rather than being just a style point.
The UltraSensor fabric does an efficient job of dealing with dampness from exertion and feels very light and airy to wear – so much so you don’t really know you’re wearing it.
In another nice touch, there’s a good quality lens cleaner sewn inside the small side seam pocket – very handy for mucky rides.
