Oakley MTB 3.6 review

The 3.6 shorts have the sort of standout visual appeal you'd expect, and feature a slim but channelled pad and the welcome detail of gripper tape on the waist at the back.

Good choice for cool weather but let down by poor fit and construction details

The 3.6 shorts have the sort of standout visual appeal you'd expect, and feature a slim but channelled pad and the welcome detail of gripper tape on the waist at the back.

The liner clips in with button tabs at the side and is a good fit, but the outer is proportionally huge. You'll need to pull the internal elastic as tight as it will go and that can cause some unsightly bulges.
>The fabric feels durable but rides very hot, even with the vents, and there's a seam that goes right the way underneath that this tester could feel even through the pad. If you love the look of these shorts, our advice is to go down a size, give the liner to a more slender friend and wear them for winter protection over tights.
