The Saint is billed as a casual short that you can ride in, and it definitely has that ‘just chilling’ appearance.
The fabric has a denim look and a cotton-like feel, but in fact being made of a nylon/elastane mix, it will stand up to decent wear on the bike too.
There are plenty of pockets on offer and a click-in liner, which you’ll need if you’re going to ride because there’s a seam that goes right underneath right where it matters.
Ultimately it felt to us like the Saint does its off-the-bike duty much better than on it, making it a contender for trips into town or fun rides rather than tackling any technical trail.
