Pricey and not that great for road riders

Oakley's new Flak Jackets with the XLJ lenses are well suited for casual riding, commuting and mountain biking, but if you’re a head down kind of rider you’re going to be looking at the rather fat frame on top of the lenses most of the time.

They’re not really designed for performance road riding duties though. There’s no doubting their excellence, but over £100 is a lot to spend, despite the level of performance.

They come with cleaning bag, hard case and thicker nose bridge inserts for people with thinner noses.
