Gore Bike Wear Pro Team Action II review

Last year's Recommended Buy winner and not a lot changes this time around. There have been some minor alterations to the fit but essentially everything else stays the same.

Extreme weather tight with dependable comfortable performance

This was last year's Recommended Buy winner and not a lot changes this time around. There have been some minor alterations to the fit but essentially everything else stays the same. Gore have taken in some of the excess and if you found them a bit loose last year everything is spot on this time round.

The Gore-Tex Windstopper laminate is light, stretchy and silent. It also does a first-rate job of blocking out the windchill and is super breathable. This is a good thing because they get warm pretty quick, but not to oppressive levels. The laminate also does a fine job of staving off water and although not waterproof it'll stop light spray from the front. Loaded with features, they also come with a chamois and are available in numerous colours. Expensive but worth the investment if you plan on covering a high number of winter miles in cold, wet weather.
