Excellent power and modulation

SRAM’s dual pivot design differs from its Shimano and Campagnolo rivals due to its high triangulated cable anchor. This is stiffened with a cross member above the pivot points, creating a brake with superb stopping ability and no flex.

The arms are machined to keep weight down. Add full titanium hardware and you’ve got a pair of brakes that weigh in at a respectable 265g. The Reds match Shimano Dura-Ace for sheer power, but with much more feel.

The brilliant sync between the small amount of lever movement and brake actuation means that with Reds you can scrub off just enough speed without the risk of over-slowing and losing precious pace.
