This gold sintered pad set uses rotor-friendly compounds according to Kool-Stop, which is nice. These nicely finished pads offer loads of bite right from new, probably due to the cross-hatched pad surface, and it’s certainly very effective.
Locking the wheels was easy to do if you weren’t careful, and the bedding-in process was noticeably shorter than other pads on test.
The packaging was basic, though and there were no bedding-in instructions – luckily they hardly needed much bedding in.
