Our review
Very heavy, but smooth, reliable stiff and sturdy at a decent price

The Magura Wotan is a well proven mountain performer with useful adjustability. The massive double arch chassis features a Maxle screw-through axle licensed from RockShox and direct-fit 200mm disc brake mounts, making it one of the stiffest, sturdiest 160mm forks around.

The evolved Albert Plus system lets you tame its smooth and linear stroke with variable levels of platform damping, so this fork holds its line and maintains control very well, however mental the trail gets.

It’s heavy by current 160mm standards though, the Flight Control adjustable travel system (it drops to 120mm) needs practice to release on the fly and the remote lever is very fragile, but reliability is excellent otherwise and the price is good.
