The Sektor picks up the RockShox Pike’s mantle, and even in this QR version it’s an impressively stiff and obedient fork in high load situations. And its coil sprung, travel adjustable Dual Position Maxle stablemate is a match for the more expensive Revelation.
Despite the direct feel, high precision and low price, it’s still light even if you add the weight of a screw-through axle. The Sektor had the simpler to set up and more predictable Solo Air spring before its more expensive brother.
The Motion Control damping is totally trustworthy in 90 percent of trail situations, only struggling when hits get random, rowdy and prolonged. Reliability is excellent and it comes with all the spares you need for your first service.
