This scandium aluminium alloy 20mm-rise bar is 660mm (26in) wide and stiffer than most other cross-country trail bars.
Tipping the scales at 230g, it doesn’t really fit its ‘SuperLight’ label but we’d be confident about the ‘SuperStrong’ bit.
The low bend centre plus generous upsweep will suit those who like a motocross-style wrist position. If you ride hard, the extra durability of Scandium is worth the extra cash.
The bar we tested was the 31.8mm clamp version. The 25.4mm model is £15 less, but still offers the same triple butted construction.
