Aimed directly at downhill race heads, the bar is crafted from a mix of triple butted 7075 T6 and 2014 aluminium to reduce weight without compromising strength.
It's easy to adapt to quickly, with a very natural upsweep of five degrees and a back sweep of 10 degrees. It also doesn't feel out of place on a downhill bike.
At 685mm wide, it isn't the widest handlebar out there, but it offers sufficient control. Although, with just the one rise option of 2in, and a clamp diameter of 25.4mm, the choices are limited, NC-17 do offer a comprehensive crash replacement programme for piece of mind.
