This is one for the weight freaks. If you’re on a budget or ride with reckless abandon, you’d be better looking elsewhere in the range: the more basic Comp weighs 141g and will cost you a lot less.
The WCS Axis is 3D net forged from 2014 aluminium. It features a contoured face plate that, while still using four bolts, clamps closer to the centre of the bars than many other stems we've tested. While we’ve had no durability or stiffness issues (the boxy section probably helps with the stiffness), it’s probably not the best option if using wide bars.
