Brooks saddles truly mould to your shape and have a devoted following from those who persevere with the break-in process.
I was surprised to find the Finesse comfortable right from the start. It's certainly firm but still feels supportive. The leather upper is amazingly slick - great for changing positions and helping legs move freely. By the end of the first few long rides the rear was showing customised butt-dents. However as the nose is rounded up (more noticeable in a racy position), I had to tilt it down to keep the pressure off.
Beautifully made, with some extra care the leather should last for years. Classed as a racing and Mtb saddle for women, with titanium rails, it's 170mm wide and fairly short. I'd say it needs a bit more break-in time for me to be happy riding over bumpy terrain (and I may never get on with the nose shape)...time will tell.
