Our review
Comfortable despite the thin race look, and it's lightweight too

Mixing sensible, dependable materials with a proven design, the Aspide FX is one of those race saddles that offers a bit of everything. It's light, comfortable without being too soft and bendy, has standard-sized rails to fit any seatpost and has excellent overall quality.

There's a slight problem with it, though, but this only comes into play if you have a twin-bolt seatpost that has bolts protruding upwards too high.

The underside of the hull is very low to the rails, so it's possible for the hull to sag enough that it rests on the seatpost's head bolts. At the lowest point, it's only 22mm from the rail to the underside of the saddle, so bear this in mind and measure your seatpost head first. Despite that potential problem, this is a classic in the making, and for good reason.
