This year sees a new line-up of women's performance saddles in the Aspide Glamour series. They all follow a new measuring system, with sizing from 225 to 255, to suit different riding styles and body shapes. There are also three colours for the Glamour model - pink, white or black - and a triathlon version, so we're feeling spoilt for choice! The svelte profile of our test model inspired awe and a little trepidation, but proved highly comfortable thanks to the rear wings that support your sit bones.
There's a shallow central groove, though it could have done with a touch more padding near the nose to avoid pressure. The surface is very flat and minimal otherwise, with a bit of flex in the shell for added shock absorption despite the thin padding. The rails are titanium/steel and the upper is hard-wearing Lorica synthetic leather.
