Inexpensive, squishy short-haul comfort, but too fat to go far

As you will have guessed from the name, this is WTB's chunky, comfy seat. And comfy it is, as long as you keep rides short and sat up. It uses a broad, squared rear end and relatively wide rounded nose for plenty of support in an upright riding position.

'Extra High' padding helps softer sterns soak up bumps and ruts, while a central cut out and long 'Love Groove' stern slot give your personal plumbing some relief. Once you start increasing your mileage though, you'll probably find the broad stance getting in the way of your pedalling,

That 'so comfy at first' couch padding will also start to ache as you spend longer sat on it, and at over a pound in weight, it won't do your bike's overall mass any favours. Still for the money it's an easy way to add short haul comfort to your bike or a significant other who's just started riding. And you can't really expect biking miracles for £15.
