Chunkily comfy, but initial suede glam gets grotty quickly

The Speed She Race saddle is the middle one of three Speed She sisters, adding a soft suede topping to the basic Speed She Comp design. It certainly makes it very cosy and comfy to the touch at first. Unfortunately it stays damp once wet and polishes smooth rapidly once you head out onto the trail. The chrome plastic under-trim at front and rear doesn't extend far enough to offer any protection to the metallic synthetic leather sides either, leaving it vulnerable to chafing and scraping damage. The shorter nose with Comfort Zone cut out underneath helps remove personal pressure and the Love Groove keeps things ventilated at the back. The broad rear also slopes enough to keep pedalling free and easy. The classic rolled nose, upswept rear profile keeps you nicely centralised in the comfort sweet spot too and it won't catch your shorts or cripple you if you slide off the back or front on technical terrain.
