Bontrager’s wet weather tyre is inspiringly surefooted and well armoured. The siped, soft compound tread definitely inspires confidence even in the worst road/weather conditions, and nothing got past the Plus puncture layer during testing.
Bontrager sent us the wire beaded version, which is heavy and expensive for a non-folder, but we also tried some folding versions (slightly more expensive and 289g).
Both are relatively slow to accelerate but rolling speed is tolerable. Despite a small volume for a 25mm tyre and high protection levels, it rides fine.
