With a love/hate appearance, the skin-walled Supermoto tyres from DMR certainly look old-school, but they perform admirably.
They’re lightweight – 580g for the Kevlar bead in 26in – and roll extremely fast and grip like chewing gum on shoes. The pattern works well on street, at the skate park or on dirt jumps –but doesn’t like anything looser than that.
We ran 60psi in ours with no problems and the carcass is of good quality – thin, but not so ridiculously thin that they attract punctures from anything sharper than a dandelion, like some other tyres we could mention.
