Unfortunately the first experience we had of the Medusa was fitting it to the rim – a hard job with just about every combination we tried. The tubeless badge makes this more of an issue, but they were harder than most comparable tyres. Once on the bike they were excellent, with good grip from the relatively narrow profile and a light and fast feel over dry surfaces. They are narrower than the 2.1in would suggest, confining them to the back wheel for most testers.
