Our review
Competent all-rounder,but watch out for greasy roots

You will either love or loathe the Wild Grip’r from Michelin – it’s a real Marmite tread.

If you’re in the ‘liker’ category the widely spaced treads will be self-cleaning like fury as you head into the boggy stuff.

The Wild Grip’R isn’t the lightest tyre that we’ve tested by a stretch, but it is one of the most durable, and is chosen by lovers of off-piste action where failures are not a great idea.

We found it to be a bit of a handful in the greasy, rooty stuff where the large bare areas between the tread blocks can allow things to get sideways in a hurry.
