If jumping, urban thrashing and mud-free riding sounds like you then look no further

A good tyre for dirt jumping, street and hacking round the woods can be tough to find. DMR's Moto tyre is great, as is the Larsen TT by Maxxis, but Tioga's latest edition looks to be one of the best...

Available in steel or Kevlar bead and in a 2.1 size, the Square Of Eight tyre has a low rolling resistance through the medium rebound rubber, thanks to the close spacing of the square blocks of rubber. The profile is fairly round, and there is enough traction for some fast singletrack antics, although this tyre is best for the jumpers.
