Our review
It might be one of the original fast but tough tires, but it’s still the best

The Schwalbe Durano is the long-proven father of a family of light, fast-yet-durable training rubber, but it's still a benchmark tire for trustworthy bargain performance in all conditions.

Tread life and puncture proofing performance was universally praised by our highest mileage, hibernation averse testers and that’s backed up by any other feedback you’ll find on the rest of the internet.

Grip from the siped tread is surefooted, if not silly sticky, in all weather and temperature conditions too.

What really makes the Durano top dog though, is the fact that it’s as light as most much more delicate race tires, but lasts well, and rolls shoulder to shoulder to with other commuting or training rubber.
