Our review
Quality singlespeed hubs for disc brake users

This Surly disc hub is designed for singlespeeders of all varieties. The burly shell is machined from forged aluminium and the hub runs on a solid M9 chromoly bolt-on spindle that stays where you put it. Seated between the two are angular contact sealed cartridge bearings for a smooth, maintenance-free ride. The disc mount features the six-bolt international standard pattern so you won't have any worries getting a disc to fit, and the freewheel uses a standard English thread so you can use BMX freewheels.

Colour choice is either black or silver. Although the Surly is a little more expensive than some singlespeed disc hubs, the quality is right on the mark.
