Our review
Strong and economical alternative to the Mavic Krysium Elite

The Vento wheels form part of the latest and more simplified range from Campagnolo. The hubs' cartridge bearings and chromo axles are similar to those found in the hubs of the Mirage groupset but a larger flange is used to support the dedicated '3G' spoke pattern.

There are 27 rear spokes and 24 front and while there is a large portion of the rim that is unsupported by the spokes the wheels stayed perfectly true throughout testing. In an attempt to improve balance a heavier plain gauge spoke is used opposite the rim joint but in practice the Corima Aero's were the only wheels on test that were perfectly balanced. The price of the Ventos includes a two-year guarantee and skewers.
