These wheels are a mix of MTB hubs from race kit legends Profile Racing and FRX rims from Arrow Racing. The deep, mid-width (27mm) rims provide plenty of strength without excessive weight but the massive welded seams mean they're not rim brake compatible.
The Profile hubs are the real gems - the axles aren't interchangeable so you have to choose your version (of which there are many available), but each one works perfectly. The bearings are like silk even after a full winter's riding and the freehub engages almost instantly, which makes a real difference on snap starts. There are lots of colour options and the quality/reliability is legendary, which makes the high price (£124.95 front; £236.95 rear) more forgivable.
