Stif Hope Pro II/Mavic XM321 review

More Hope Pro II action, this time attached to Mavic's XM321 midweight hardcore hoop by leading Leeds-based wheelshop, Stif. They're plenty tough making these wheels great all-rounders - though not rim brake compatible.

Fantastic price for a super reliable, strong all-round wheelset

They're plenty tough making these wheels great all-rounders - though not rim brake compatible. DT Competition double spokes in a classic 32 spoke, 3-cross format is proven, and we've been getting Stif-built wheels for years without experiencing anything less than perfect build quality. It's hello to Hope's light, strong and super versatile Pro II hubs again. This set increase the proof base that years of continual 'nearly ready' testing in the bleakest northern Pennine conditions has paid real sealing and durability dividends. They're easy to pull apart and service - not that we've had to yet. Stif will also put you together a complete set for less than most bike shops can buy the bits for, so pricing is fantastic for such reliably useful rolling stock. Skewers are still extra, though.
