Pricey but fits well, is easy to adjust and does a decent job of keeping sweat from your skull

Although £49.99 might sound a fair chunk of cash for a piss pot style helmet, the Airtime from Alpina certainly offers more than the average.

Key to the Airtime’s secure fit is the adjustable cradle that comfortably cups the rear of the head. It can be easily adjusted with one hand. Alpina offer the Airtime in two sizes so you don’t have to ram extra pads in to get the fit right.

Speaking of padding, inside the Airtime you’ll find thinner, more comfortable trail helmet style pads, which wick sweat well. The six vents are more effective than you might think, but things still get hot pretty quick.
