Zefal HPX Classic pump review

There’s a boxing adage that a good big ’un will always beat a good little ’un. And the Zefal HPX proves that this is just as true for bicycle pumps. The Classic name is accurate too, as this is a design that’s stood the test of time.

It’s get your tyres up to 100psi quickly and has a reassuring air of solidity compared to its predominantly plastic rivals. The barrel, stem, handle and locking lever are all made from aluminium, with the slightly wider diameter rubber handle comfortable to use even at higher pressures. Replacement parts are available from Zefal too, in the unlikely event of failure.
