There's no excuse for not owning a quality cable cutter, especially at this price

A proper set of cable cutters should top any discerning home mechanic's tool list. Struggling away with the blunt cutter on an old pair of pliers is amateurish and makes a complete hash of the inner cable and outer housing.

You can pay good money for a quality set of cutters and that's probably what deters most from investing in a pair.

Not true for the Super Bs. Coming in at a very reasonable price, it gets the job done with minimum fuss, neatly slicing through inner, outer and braided housing with ease. Just avoid doing the idiot thing of using it for cutting spokes. The purposeful jaw, strong spring and grippy handle gives the cutter a solid feel. It's not as well finished as the Shimano, Park and Pedros equivalents but it's more than capable and should last.
