This hollow 7005 series alloy rear axle is designed to lose some weight from your downhill bike and smarten it up too. It dropped 20g from the axle it replaced and has been going strong for over four months worth of ragging.
Weight aside, the big improvement comes when you’re removing and replacing the rear wheel a lot. The machining is superb at the Allen key end which provides a perfect fit forthe key, and the nut is a decent size, meaning you can get a good grip of it. It’ll be available in four colours.
