Our review
Cadence-capable computer that’s reliable and very simple to use

Mavic have several wireless speed sensors in their range; this one replaces the nut on your quick-release skewer so it’s super-easy to install while the cadence sensor, which is wireless too, zip-ties in place on your frame.

You don’t get a vast number of features but that might be a bonus if you don’t want to be blinded by science – it covers the speed and distance basics, including averages and maximums, and there are nine intermediary timers for clocking different sections of your ride.

The three lines of information on the display are smaller than average but still easy enough to read, and navigating through the screens is straightforward via two chunky buttons. The 2.4GHz digital transmission suffered no interference at all. You can input a second wheel size for swapping onto another bike – a second bike kit costs £45.
