Ribble Cycles road bikes tested, rated and reviewed on BikeRadar

Ribble Cycles is a British bike company originally established in 1897. Now one of the UK's biggest online bike dealers and selling bikes all over the world, Ribble specialises in using thoroughly road-tested frames from the Far East as the basis of customer-specced bike packages that offer exceptional value for money.

What Ribble bikes are there?

Ribble’s 2017 and 2018 range includes road, cyclocross, gravel, time-trial, triathlon, track and urban bikes.

Club riders the length and breadth of the UK will be familiar with the sight of Ribble’s ultra-affordable 7005 Winter Audax, which is available from just £599 / AU$854.99 (approx $770) for a complete bike.

Other highlights include carbon road bikes such as the Ribble R872, the Ribble Sportive Racing and the super-light Ribble Ultimate SL, which has a frame weighing a claimed 840g. Prices for fully built carbon bikes start at just £799 / AU$1,282.99 (approx $1,030).

For something a little more retro, the Ribble Reynolds 525 has bags of old-school charm.

Does Ribble just sell bikes?

Nope, Ribble Cycles stocks a huge range of components, accessories and clothing, including its own Nuovo cycling kit brand.

Where can I buy Ribble bikes?

Ribble Cycles specialises in online direct-to-consumer sales, but if you want to see a bike in person before committing to buy, there are showrooms located in Preston and Birmingham, England.

Ribble Cycles ships internationally, and there are Australian and German versions of its website.
