Quality pair of mitts without a ridiculous price tag

Suffer from sweaty hands? If so, the Northwave Evolutions could be the mitts for you, because the first thing that stands out is the amount of venting on offer.

  • Highs: Loads of ventilation, padding
  • Lows: Nothing!

There’s ventilation for the palm, wrist and fingers, while the top of the hand benefits from a decent section of thin, perforated material and the usual thin stretch fabric. The Velcro tab makes getting them on a doddle, and they’re nice and secure, and loops linking all four fingers mean removing them is easy too.

Padding is dense and in the right place, providing comfort on longer rides, while a reflective flap on the back adds visibility when signalling.
