Very similar performance to top-of-the-line Dura-Ace, though pedal threads are on the loose side

This is similar in style to the top-end Dura-Ace, and though there are performance and weight differences, it’s hardly detectable out on the road. Shifting isn’t quite as smooth or quick, but other than that there’s little between them – why pay the extra £200, you might ask.

Well, the pedal threads on the cranks were slightly oversized – several pedals showed a slight wobble in the thread just before final tightening – and though this isn’t a huge problem short term, we’d question their long-term life if you swap pedals a lot.

Considering the price and performance, though, it’s hard to find anything better.
