Rocky Mountain

Rocky Mountain Bicycles is a Canadian bicycle manufacturer based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The company traces its roots back to the birth of mountain biking in the late 1970s when its founders modified old road bikes to accommodate fat tyres and flat handlebars.

The company's location put it at the forefront of the freeride movement of the late '90s and early '00s. Freeride pioneers Wade Simmons, Brett Tippie and Richie Schley all spent time aboard Rocky Mountain bikes.
