Good price, but fit doesn’t seem to be women-specific

There's no doubting these are yet another great value product from online retailers Wiggle, and they’re also well made. But our women testers didn’t find them that comfortable for long rides.

The problem seems to be that that the heel-cup is a little stiff, while the sole flexes a bit too much along its length as you pedal – by twisting.

The features are good though, with plenty of meshed panels for cooling and a nice roomy toe-box. With an inner and an outer tongue they should be comfortable across the top of the foot, but the three Velcro straps have to be quite tight for a snug fit, which means they don’t end up as comfy as you might hope.

Fit is, of course, subjective and everyone’s feet are different shapes – so it’s also probable that many women will find what appears to be a small man’s shoe shape in pink is a perfect fit for them.
