Comfortable and durable, with a great fit, but pricey with no liner

Don't let the ‘DH’ part of the name of Sweet Protection’s Inferno DH shorts put you off if you don’t ride downhill. The Inferno shorts are more than at home being worn at your local trails and on longer rides, and that’s all down to the excellent cut and material.

We found the construction was durable, with plenty of stretch, all of which helps contribute to the overall high comfort. They are fully lined with a stretchy perforated material that glides over pads effortlessly and wicks away sweat nicely too.

The fit is key here. It fits closely in the leg and is tailored at the waist, with a fairly high waistband and secure double popper fastening. The waist is adjustable with two velcro adjusters. The crotch sits snug to your undercarriage with no flappy material, so movement at speed is completely unhindered. The only downside is the price and lack of chamois liner.
