Sharp 100% styling but suited to more people

Pros:

Excellent lens quality, stiff frames and hinges

Cons:

Lens changing is quite robust

100% has seemingly come out of nowhere to become one of the most popular glass brands. Truth is, it's been in eyewear and protection for some time, but mainly for moto-x and winter sports, the master stroke for the brand was getting Peter Sagan to sign to the brand, because it looks like anything the world champion touches turns to gold.

The S1's made popular by Sagan are a great pair of glasses, but their oversized design doesn’t suit everyone, which is why 100% has launched the S2.

It follows the same retro-inspired modern design cues with its crystal frames and shield lens, but the S2 caps the corners of the lens and slims down the dimensions a little to 56mm at their deepest.

The lens quality of the mirrored Hiper lens is up with the best (they’re Italian-made like Rudy, Oakley and Smith, to name a few) and the subtle machined edges stop them looking scruffy or chipping when manhandled.

Vented slots cut into the lens edges keep fogging at bay, however lens changing is quite robust until you get the knack of it.

Stiff frames with proper hinges are good to see as is the substantial package that includes a clear lens for poorer weather, two different nose-pieces, a bag and a big hard case to contain it all. It feels like you’re getting your money’s worth.
