The Kona Mash-Up powered by MBUK has been a revolution in the world of British mountain bike racing.

The next instalment of the funnest way to race your bike takes place next weekend (5 December) at Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre in Afan Forest.

Confused? Does the Mash-Up have anything to do with late-Nineties, hat-wearing Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce? No is the answer to the second question and let us explain the rest...

You can either race in the Enduro or Technical categories. Enduro will take you on a 40km loop of some of Wales's finest trails with timed sections along the way. The Technical challenge is similar but slimmed down a bit. You'll complete a loop of the famous White's Level with timed sections on the singletrack and downhill sections on the way back so you don't have to worry about sprinting up the first climb.

If you've never ridden Afan before then the Mash-Up is a great excuse to give it a razz while getting some always beneficial winter training in at the same time. Bonus!

Go on! Enter here and get involved with one of the most fun day's riding you'll ever have...
