Fashion designer and cycling enthusiast Sir Paul Smith and Mayor of London Boris Johnson are two of the people set to feature in a photography exhibition of the capital’s most fashionable cyclists.

The City Cycle Style exhibition, by leading fashion photographer Horst A. Friedrichs, will be held outdoors at London’s Royal Exchange from 28 September to 29 October, opening 24 hours a day. It’s said to capture 40 of the city’s most stylish riders on their beloved bikes.

“From fashionistas to financiers, an increasing number of Londoners are taking to the saddle,” explained Friedrichs. “The bicycle is now being seen as a reflection of your own personality and fashion choices rather than a simple way to get around. I hope the exhibition will show London exactly how you can ride in style and encourage more people to start cycling.”
