The Milano three-bike carrier comes fully assembled, which is just as well because the printed instructions aren’t the clearest. Simple to use, toothed circular clamps make positioning it easy, and large rubber bumpers prevent it from slipping. The rubber-faced hooks grip well, but they might require a bit of bending to improve fit.
When all six straps are tightened the Milano is very solid, and has a total bike weight limit of 45kg. the hard plastic bike holders might not be kind to delicate tubes in the long-term, and they’re fairly close together which leaves the bikes resting against each other with potentially damaging consequences.
