Saris Sentinel 3-bike review

Simplicity is always a good thing in any design, and it doesn’t get much simpler than this. Just pull the rack out of the box, let the lower support arm fall down, and put the rack on to your car with just the top straps in place.

Simple to use and holds bikes securely in place

Simplicity is always a good thing in any design, and it doesn't get much simpler than this. Just pull the rack out of the box, let the lower support arm fall down, and put the rack on to your car with just the top straps in place. Then adjust the length of the top arm section using the quick release pin that slides in and out of holes in the top arm.

Once that's done, you fit the other straps to the car and put bikes on it. Once set for your car, the best thing to do is to leave the top straps alone, fitting and removing by just loosening or tightening the side and bottom straps.

It fits well and the bikes are held securely in place, and can be further secured by using the supplied tie straps to pull the bikes on to the rack.

Bikes: 3. Weight limit: 47.6kg.
