When this spray turned up promising to delay fatigue and speed muscle recovery, we were suitably intrigued.
Magnesium is essential for muscle function and is usually obtained from food or supplements, so anything promising miracles has to be investigated.
Objective testing saw it used on one side only during a two-week cross-training binge and we didn’t find the left leg ached any more or less than the ‘control’ right leg, which saw identical treatment with benign almond oil.
With black pepper and camphor, it’s a nice lubricant for pre-and post-ride rub downs, but if you think you’re magnesium deficient, you should examine your diet first.
