The Fast Jacket XL features a new quick-locking lens retainer that takes the stress out of lens changes – the flip-down metal hinge stopping the threat of accidental damage.
Though as this model uses a Transitions photochromic lens, you’re not likely to use it that often. The high quality frame has a fixed nose bridge section, but the tacky nature of the contact points means they are both comfortable and stable.
The quality of the optics is first rate, with great clarity and no issues with wind or fogging. The Fast Jackets really are a supreme pair of cycling shades – but you’d expect nothing less for the price.
