As you’d expect from HRM pioneer Polar, this is very well-designed and easy to use. Setting it up is a doddle, thanks to some of the clearest instructions we've seen, and we’re pleased that the handy cadence function is included in the price. The display is big and clear and in addition to the usual functions this has a calorie counter.
The straps of the heart rate monitor are also among the most comfortable we've tried. The CS200 has a novel method of uploading your training information using your computer’s microphone, enabling you to set up your own training diary at polarpersonaltrainer.com (Windows only). The construction quality is high. Unfortunately there's no Mac compatibility.
