"Good idea but in practice too loose on the bike"

You can’t beat a nice hot cuppa when you’re out for a long ride. With this double-wall steel flask, you can take your own coffee or tea.

It fits by its handle, bayonet-mount style, to a bracket on the frame’s bottle bosses. Unfortunately there’s too much play, so it can rock annoyingly from side to side, especially when full.

The flask itself is pretty good though. It’s sturdy, it’ll hold about 450ml (nominally 500ml), and it keeps drinks nice and hot for three or four hours.

We recommend you pick up a Bikebuddy instead, which fits a flask of any size to your bike; its adjustable clamp is a better option, as is a steel flask in a saddlebag.
