Polaris Sphere Vest review

The Sphere is fully waterproof, thanks to seam seals throughout. But the fabric, which feels slightly rubbery on the inside, isn’t quite as breathable as some, and can feel clammy when you sweat.

The Sphere is fully waterproof, thanks to seam seals throughout. But the fabric, which feels slightly rubbery on the inside, isn't quite as breathable as some, and can feel clammy when you sweat. The cut is very close, tapering in towards the waist with some elastication at the dropped tail. There's a chest pocket and a large back pocket with an internal divider - all zips have toggles for easy use with gloved hands. A central rear strip protects you from road spray while two mesh panels to the side, with elasticated pouches at their base, help ventilation. Plenty of reflective piping and patches ensure you're seen at night.
